Grand Knights Message
June 2026
Cesare Lucido, Grand Knight

Dear Brother Knight, Sister Columbiettes, Family, and Friends, Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday that I was first installed as Grand Knight and entrusted with the honor of serving you, our Council. Serving as your Grand Knight was an honor I will always cherish, and I sincerely thank you for the confidence and trust you placed in me. The past two years have been busy, and together we have accomplished so much. Whether it was organizing food drives, conducting membership drives, and achieving two and four stars for a council award. Supporting our parishes and community organizations through donations and service, we always remained true to the basic principle of our Order — Charity. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my officers and all the brothers who generously gave their time and effort to make these past two years such a success. A special thank you to my current officers for their dedication, leadership, and unwavering support throughout my term. Your hard work and commitment helped make our Council stronger and more successful. Without all of you, none of this would have been possible. I would also like to thank my Columbiette counterpart, President Vicky Porcelli. It has truly been a pleasure working alongside you over these past two years. One of my biggest achievements was combining our installation ceremonies, which brought our councils closer together. I would like to congratulate our newly elected officers and wish them every success in the coming year. I am confident that DGK Frank Tansey and his officers will do an outstanding job leading our Council forward.

Thank you again for the privilege of serving as your Grand Knight. May God bless you all.

The May Crowning of Mary and the celebration of life for Sister Mary Michael French was a beautiful and moving event, made even more special by the presence of over 90 attendees. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and talents to make this day so meaningful. Special thanks to Father Patrick Anthony for conducting Mass, Edwin Newborn for his assistance at the altar. Dan DiLauro for coordinating the food staff. We are also deeply grateful to Vicky Porcelli and Joe Muller for their work in setting up the altar and ensuring everything was prepared. Your contributions helped create a memorable and reverent experience for our council. Thank you all.

Fraternally,
Cesare Lucido, Grand Knight
