Grand Knights Message
January 2026
Cesare Lucido, Grand Knight

Dear Brother Knight, Sister Columbiettes, Family, and Friends,

I hope this message finds everyone well and in good health as we enter what may be a challenging winter month in February. As always, we place our trust in God to guide and protect us through the cold days ahead. May we take comfort in knowing that spring—and the promise of renewal it brings—will be here before we know it, with even baseball’s Spring Training just weeks away as a small reminder of God’s ever-present cycles of hope and new beginnings.

On January 31st, we will celebrate Polish Night at the Council. The catered food, along with the always-entertaining Crystal Image, promises a wonderful evening of fellowship and joy. I encourage all brothers and their families to attend, come together in friendship, and share in the spirit of unity that strengthens our Council.

On February 5th, at our next business meeting, our insurance agent, Vincent Valerio, will be in attendance. The Knights of Columbus Insurance Program offers a variety of benefits, including life insurance, long-term care insurance, disability insurance, and annuities. These products are available to members, their spouses, and dependent children. Our access to these benefits is a powerful way to live out our commitment to charity and responsibility, helping ensure that our Catholic families are cared for and protected as we navigate the trials of life and, ultimately, prepare for eternal life.

On February 15th, we will celebrate our Charter Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians at 10:00 a.m. I ask all brothers and their families to please make every effort to attend as we come together in prayer, give thanks for our Council, and show our continued support through our shared faith.

On February 21st returns one of our Council’s most popular events—Night at the Races! Once again, this event has sold out, a true testament to the enthusiasm and support of our brothers and their families. Thank you to everyone who made reservations, and we look forward to an exciting and enjoyable evening of fellowship.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at these events. Keep warm, and hopefully February will not be as cold and snowy.

Fraternally Yours,
Cesare Lucido, Grand Knight .
